Mr Speedy the Cat casts players as a swift black feline sprinting over urban rooftops. The mission is to gather as many stars as possible while steering clear of hazards and preventing them from tumbling into the gaps between buildings. The cat’s movement is automatic—only precise jump timing ensures continued progress.

Lives and Second Chances

Collisions with obstacles or missed jumps bring the race to a halt, but the game offers a choice: resume the journey at the cost of a life or start anew while keeping all lives intact. Managing these decisions wisely can extend a promising run or preserve resources for future attempts.

Power-Ups and Unlockables

Reaching certain distances summons special abilities such as boosted jumps, a magnet collar for easier star collection, and a speed plane for rapid traversal. Stars can be spent on enhancing these powers or purchasing extra lives. With enough collected, players can unlock two additional scenarios, each offering a fresh backdrop for Mr Speedy’s daring leaps.
